The difference a day makes

I feel fine today. Even woke up hungry. This is much better. Now, how to get some work done this afternoon, when I have errands I need to do & then the housecleaner will be underfoot, & then I have to get to the gym? The combination of weekend social life and food poisoning was very hard on the Ideal Schedule. I felt I was doing well to get up at 8:00 this morning. Tomorrow I'll try to haul myself out of bed earlier---but I still need to salvage something of today.

And what I'd really like to do is get back to the gardening I was in the middle of on Sunday when our friends called. Who needs a social life anyway?

Be it resolved: I'm going to have some work to report in tomorrow's very boring blog post. You can bring on the wet noodles if I don't.

Grade like the wind! Grade like spanish prof! (Who is also on a secret grading mission.)

Glad you're feeling better. :)

What is this "grade" of which you speak? Oh, you must mean leveling out the garden patch. Yes, I could grade the plot where the peonies will go.

Are you by chance allergic to sea weed? The symptoms of the allergy mimic food poisoning, and, according to my friend, who would get ill every time she ate sushi (with or without raw fish) until the allergy was diagnosed, it's a pretty common allergy.

oops
totally misread

I have been incompetent in many many ways today. Too much sun?

ntbw, it's an interesting theory. I have eaten seaweed often enough before, without ill effects, but sometimes food allergies can come on suddenly. Or maybe I got a different kind of seaweed than I have had before. I've been theorizing that while this place was careful with the raw fish, they may have been using up not-so-fresh fish for those suckers who wanted their fish cooked. But now I can be paranoid about sea vegetables in future. Thanks, I think. ;-)
